Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer well recognized for her high-quality performance in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her movie Piano earned her an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive history of working on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. Since her childhood she's been passionate about performing. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school play. In the fifth grade, after having mumps she lost her hearing in the left ear. However, she did not let that stop her.
