Anne-Marie Duff, an English actress, who also writes stories is an extremely talented individual. Duff began her television career at the end of 1990s, after she graduated from Drama Centre London. She played in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is a Britsih actor. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actress from the UK. She first gained prominence as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her subsequent role. The actress also played Queen Elizabeth I as well as the lead character on From Darkness, a television show that premiered in the year 2015. Duff played roles in films like Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes on a Scam (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). The Virgin Queen Shameless The Virgin Queen and Suffragette both earned her BAFTA Awards for the Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff, an award-winning English actor who excels on stage is a star in films and theaters with great style. The actress gained a lot of attention due to her performances in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama series Shameless and as the role of Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen. Anne-Marie is also an experienced theatre actress, with over two decades of on-stage performances that include working extensively with the Royal National Theatre.
