Morgan starred alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women that focuses on AIDS prevention and education. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Team. She also has led several other fundraising efforts in the fight against AIDS and has testified in front of a specially-created Congressional Commission regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her occasionally to be his substitute during AIDS awareness events. Additionally, she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special presented by Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded the Emmy nomination for her particular episode on Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan co-starred on ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring with Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also included Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan also played in a psychological suspense drama created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ratings of all time for the channel.
